Welcome to Out of School and Holiday Clubs @ Grange School

Our Out of School and Holiday Clubs @ Grange School was confirmed to be good with areas of outstanding by Ofsted. The Club offers exciting age appropriate opportunities specific to children’s ages.

The club is managed in two groups:

• Under 8s
• Over 8s

During breakfast and after school teas children are encouraged to understand healthy eating. Children have access to IT resources and are encouraged to join homework clubs where Playworkers support them to complete their homework before going home!

There are areas for children just to relax and have quiet times and areas such as outdoors and the gym for children to join sporting activities or games.

Our Holiday Clubs are designed to include children’s ideas as to the activities they would like to include on the plan, it may be a visit to the Cinema, a Museum, a nature walk or a guest to come in and talk to them such as the Police, Doctors or the Vet.

At the end of each Holiday Club and throughout the School term children are asked to evaluate the activities they have participated in.

The children are encouraged to self manage, to share, to be kind and thoughtful to each other and to respect each other and their environment.
